Creative Rise Cornwall is an artist development initiative for early career dance and theatre artists in Cornwall.
Founded in 2025 by Artistic Director Katie Lusby, the programme was created in response to the limited professional opportunities and support available for emerging artists in the region. Through a free six-month programme of intensive training, mentorship, collaboration, and performance opportunities, Creative Rise brings artists together to deepen their practice, build creative networks, and develop sustainable careers within Cornwall.
At the heart of the programme is a belief that emerging artists in Cornwall deserve access to ambitious, high-quality opportunities, and the support needed to stay, create, and flourish within the region.
